Disable popup notifications in Google Chrome

 

By default, when Google Chrome suppresses popup windows it notifies you with a little notification that it has suppressed a popup window. If you keep visiting web sites that throws-in a lot of popup windows it would certainly be annoying to dismiss those notifications every time Chrome notifies one.

Well, help is there. Follow The Geek’s footsteps to disable the popup notifications in Google Chrome.

Step-1:

Launch Google Chrome browser.

Step-2:

Click the Tools option (the wrench icon on the top right side) and then choose “Options”.

Step-3:

In the Google Chrome Options dialog box, under the “Web Content” section make sure to uncheck (remove the tick mark) the “Notify me when a popup is blocked” option.

Step-4:

Click the “Close” button and restart the browser.

Huh! Done with those annoying popup notifications!
