Change the default view on Google Calendar

Note: This quick tip is applicable only to those who use Google Calendar to keep up with your schedule. For those of you who don’t use Google Calendar you sure should check out Google Calendar. It is a decent online tool to keep up with your schedule.

When you launch Google Calendar it goes into a default view (day or week view). If you happen to switch the view every time you launch Google Calendar then you might want to use this trick to set a default view to your Google Calendar.

Step-1:

Launch Google Calendar.

Step-2:

Click the Settings link in the upper right corner of the page.

Step-3:

On the General tab, use the Default view dropdown list to select the desired view. There are 5 choices: Day, Week, Month, Custom View and Agenda.

If you select Custom View, use the Custom View dropdown list to select the desired value (choices are Next 2 Days thru Next 7 Days, Next 2 weeks, 3 weeks or 4 weeks).

Step-4:

Click on the Save button.

From, now on when you launch Google Calendar it will launch with the view that you’ve selected.
