At times it would be handy to have multiple versions of Internet Explorer (IE) installed on your Windows XP machine so that you can quickly test your web development effort on multiple versions to make sure. Of course, there are online services that can test a web page on a whole bunch of browsers but if you are in an enterprise or doing local web development work then you might not be able to make use of those online services to test across multiple browsers.

When installing you can pick and choose the versions of Internet Explorer you want to be installed on your computer. Currently, Multiple IE supports Internet Explorer versions 3.0, 4.01, 5.01, 5.5 and 6.0. Choose the versions you want to install and Multiple IE will take care of the rest.
