Circuit City to close 155 stores – Liquidation sale starts Nov 5, 2008

With the US economy in the downturn Circuit City has decided to close down some 155 stores across 28 states to reduce its work force and the overhead. They are expecting to close down all of those 155 stores by the end of 2008. What that means is that those stores will be handed over to a liquidator who will start the liquidation sale. And the liquidator is starting the sale today (Wednesday, Nov 5). If you live in an area where a Circuit City store is getting closed then you might want to stop by at the store to see if you can get a bargain on some of the geeky stuffs (or at least on some of the basic electronic gadgets).
