Stay healthy with these simple desk exercises

Daily Exercise Logo

As geeks you’d be spending most of the time, you are awake, in front of the computer. While you might be happier with getting things done it certainly poses health and ergonomic risks if not done properly. So, I thought I would take a couple of minutes from you (DemoGeek.com readers) to let you know of a web site that I came across that demonstrates some of the exercises that you can do from your computer chair. The best part of these exercises are that they are pretty simple to do.

Daily-Exercise.com has some great videos on how to do all these exercises. They have it categorized into,

  • Equipment Free
  • Fitness Ball
  • Bands
  • Hand Weights
  • Magic Circle

With these categories you can pick and choose the category that’s convenient for you. If you have hand weights in your office desk or can bring them to the office then you can try those exercises that involve hand weights.

If you actively work out that would be the best thing to do. If you don’t have the time to do an active work-life balance then doing these types of exercises would help at least.

I hope you stay healthy with these exercises. As their tagline says “Something – anything – is better than nothing”.
