Minimize open Windows to a single System Tray icon
Reduce your Windows Task Bar clutter with Minime and reduce the open windows to a single system tray icon.
I’m not sure about you but I normally keep a lot of Windows open at any point of time and sometimes my laptop’s Task Bar get so cluttered. At times Windows’ “window grouping” kicks-in and forces me to do one more click to open up a window. I hate when that happens.
Minime is a simple application that minimizes some of the open Windows to system tray so that your Windows Task Bar won’t get cluttered. When you want a window to be minimized to system tray you just press the shortcut key combination “Ctrl Shift Z” and the window minimizes to the system tray. You can choose to have the windows that you want minimized to system tray. And the cool thing about Minime is that it just minimizes the windows to one system tray icon so that your system tray doesn’t get cluttered too. To restore a window, all you do is just right-click on the Minime icon on your system tray and you’ll get a list of windows to restore.
Minime is very useful application to reduce the clutter at your Windows Task Bar. Minime works on both Windows Vista and Windows XP. I hope you find Minime useful. If you have any questions/comments regarding this please let us know in comments.
