Extend the list of suggestions on Google Chrome’s Omnibox.

Google Chrome’s Omnibox is the equivalent of Firefox’s Awesome Bar. By default Omnibox suggests 5 suggestions as you type the URL. If 5 is not enough for you then you can extend the number of suggestions with this simple hack.

Step-1: Google Chrome Properties

Right-click on the Google Chrome icon and click on the Properties menu option.

Step-2: Update the Target Textbox

When the Google Chrome Properties dialog pops-up add a empty space at the end of whatever is there at the Target textbox and then add this to the end,

-omnibox-popup-count=15

Replace the number 15 with the number of suggestions that you want Google Chrome to suggest. Hit the OK button and restart the browser.

You should now be able to see Google Chrome Omnibox suggesting as many of possible suggestions as you’ve keyed-in. If you have any questions/comments regarding this please let us know in comments.
