Translate foreign language emails with Gmail Translate
Gmail now supports language translations.
It used to be a real pain when you receive emails in foreign languages that you don’t know. I normally tend to copy paste the email using Google Translate. It used to be a painful process, as you can imagine. With the introduction of Translate capabilities in Gmail you can now translate those foreign language emails without leaving Gmail.
It’s pretty simple to enable the Translation feature in Gmail.

Visit the Gmail Labs section and enable the “Message Translation” option. Make sure to hit the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

Once enabled, when you open any of the foreign language emails you should now be able to see an option at the top of the message that allows you to translate the message to a target language (English in this case), hit the “Translate message” link at the top of the message.

As you can see above, the translate process did a decent job to translate the message to English. It might not be perfect on all scenarios but it will get you the most.
I hope Gmail Language Translation helps you deal with those foreign language emails easier. If you have any questions please let us know in comments.
