HeyIT – IE6 hate reaches out to the Corporate IT Department
With HeyIT.com people are trying to reach out to the IT department to get rid of IE6.
No doubt, many people hate Internet Explorer 6. It is the one dog out there that’s causing the whole herd to jump the loops. It’s way too incompliant with the web standards and is a pain for any web developer to make exceptions so that their web work can work on IE6 also.
Many people must have gotten rid of the IE6 browser but when it comes to corporate IE6 residue is still out there (a lot!). The reason…most CIO’s problem…upgrade compliance. What will happen to all those live applications that are working fine on IE6 now?

There were many, many hate groups of IE6 but HeyIT targets the IE6 hate to the corporate IT departments. They’ve put out a website where you can print posters bashing IE6 and hinting to your IT folks to upgrade. They even have a Facebook group and a Twitter campaign.

Your article says "HeyIT.com", which doesn't exist. It links to "hey-it.com", which does.
