Office.com is live now

Microsoft launched Office.com for Microsoft Office Online works.

It was news when Microsoft bought the catchy Office.com domain for an undisclosed amount. But then there were all sort of expectations on what Microsoft is going to do with the more contextual extension. Well, Microsoft made its first attempt to bring the domain name to life by redirecting it to the Microsoft Office Online website.

As for what would be the ultimate target for Office.com, it could be hosting the web version of a light-weight Office suite of applications, similar to Google Docs.
