JiTouch enhances the default TrackPad behavior and adds a whole bunch of new gestures to help you get things done a lot faster. Some of the gestures include,

  • Next/Previous Tab
  • Open Link in a New Tab
  • Minimize
  • Zoom (Maximize)
  • Move/Resize
  • Close/Close Tab
  • Open Recently Closed Tab
  • Quit

Some of these gestures improve the way you get things done.

One major annoyance with the TrackPad is that it picks up your resting thumb as well. Interestingly, JiTouch just ignores your thumb touch if you leave it to rest on the TrackPad.

JiTouch costs $5.49 for a lifetime license which is pretty cheap for a Mac app and I’m sure you realized the usefulness of these extra gestures. If you are convinced you can download JiTouch and give it a try.

If you’ve been using JiTouch please share with us any tricks that you’ve learnt that’s not explored/exposed yet.
