Use this simple technique to increase the standard download limit on Internet Explorer 8.

To effectively use your available bandwidth most modern day browsers enforce a limit on concurrent downloads. Internet Explorer 8, for its share, enforces a limit of only allowing 2 concurrent downloads at a time. What that means is that you have to wait till any of the two downloads finish to start another download.

This is well and good if you have a slow internet connection.
