Free TidySongs Software Giveaway – DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE!
DON’T MISS THE CHANCE! Leave a comment for a chance to win 1 of 3 TidySongs software licenses.
This contest has ended on Feb 7, 2010. Congrats to the winners! Even if you didn’t win you can still get a 50% discount of TidySongs software. Scroll down for details.
Have a large library of music files on your computer? Quite possibly, are those files littered around your hard disk? Notice a lot of duplicate songs in your library? Missing artwork and the many useful information about the songs? Would like to get your music collection organized without spending days and months trying to figure out?

Sure, that’s a lot of questions but I have a simple answer for you. Try TidySongs. To describe it in one sentence…TidySongs is a fantastically functional software that comes to your rescue if you are lost in the world of organizing your music collection.

Let’s accept it, we all have an enormous amount of digital music on our computers these days. We don’t have a choice but to organize it within folders which tends to lead us to duplicate songs if you are not careful. And many of us have SmartPhones or Portable Music Players where we spend our lone times for the most part. And we all know that those devices are not intuitive enough to help you navigate through the hundreds and thousands of songs they hold. It would be even tougher if you are missing the album artwork or artist name or genre information on many of those songs. Imagine that!

TidySongs makes it a lot easier for you to,
- Remove duplicate songs
- Fix misspelled song details
- Fill-in missing artists and genre information
- Add missing album artwork
And it does all these for you automatically. As of this writing, TidySongs has a smart online music database with information on more than 4 million songs that it uses to automatically download the correct details for each of your songs so you don’t have to type it in. That, surely, is a lifesaver if you know what I mean…fixing hundreds of thousands of songs manually otherwise.
You might think it’s a one time job to fix all these songs but if you realize it, it is not! As you buy or download new songs the core problem would still exist and you would need TidySongs help at some point to get through the collection of songs you have.
TidySongs normally costs you $39 but I can tell you that once you realize the usefulness of TidySongs (once you’ve used it for couple of times practically) you’d soon realize that those are $39 that’s well spent, considering the time, effort and frustration that TidySongs have saved you. Since TidySongs works across platforms (Mac OSX, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7) you don’t have to worry about the operating system that you use, you’ll have TidySongs to your rescue.
If you are convinced that TidySongs is one of the software that you should proudly own for a long time, head over to TidySongs website and buy the product by all means.
If you want to take a chance we have you covered as well. Demo Geek has got 3 full-licenses of TidySongs software and we wanted to giveaway the licenses to our wonderful readers. All we ask for is that you leave a comment on this post with your honest opinion about TidySongs and if you have tried the product already, how you like the product and what features you would like to see, if any, and tweet the following,
Win a free license of TidySongs software at DemoGeek.com http://bit.ly/bWKvry
The giveaway promotion will run until February 7, 2010. After the promotion ends, on Feb 8th, we’ll randomly pick 3 lucky winners using Random.org. The content of your comment won’t influence the chance of winning the license. So, please be honest in your opinion about TidySongs in your comments and remember you have only until February 7, 2010 to leave a comment for a chance to win one of the 3 TidySongs licences.
Good Luck!
If you’d like to see it action, Demo Geek has an in-depth demonstration of how you can use TidySongs to cleanup your iTunes library.
The winners are Jake, Brian and Patrick. Congratulations! The winners were notified by email with the free license code. Thank you everyone for your great participation! To appreciate the interest and participation you’ve shown we are giving away a 50% off TidySongs discount code for everyone else (and that includes me as well). 3744 tracks and MusicBrainz is too slow!! Show me some love guys!!
January 29th, 2010 at 11:25 am
hey guys…. ~24,000 files. All Mp3, M4a, wma, etc. All over the place. Probably ~12,000 are legit tracks and of those ~8,000 are tagged correctly. Man do I need a free copy of TidySongs…. desperately. Personally I'm still sad to see you get jumped on by the not-so-friendly apple-eaters over trademark issues. Boo.
Look at it this way: This library of music could produce an outstanding testimony for you by me. I will sing the praises… I already converted about 30 friends over to mediamonkey for their main music app – will do the same for fixing their libraries with TS!

January 29th, 2010 at 12:57 pm
This would be great for me because I have all of my songs in iTunes, but hate when the program does not recognize the album and therefore cannot find the album art.
January 29th, 2010 at 1:36 pm
Well played – for us older folks….50+ club, this was a great tool to have, thank you for allowing the demo download

January 29th, 2010 at 11:42 am
I'd really love to try this… I kinda have music thrown all around this one folder, never got around to sorting it, and now its huge
January 29th, 2010 at 12:43 pm
this may not win me a license but you did ask for honest opinion
product description claims it works "wherever your music comes from…not just iTunes"…yet it won't do anything without iTunes being open and locating my iTunes xml file…i don't have iTunes program hence no xml file
programs that don't live up to their claims need to either (a) tone down the sales pitch or (b) ramp up the functionality
this seems great for iTunes users, so why muddy the waters for people who aren't?
January 29th, 2010 at 6:57 pm
this may not win me a license but you did ask for honest opinion
doesn't work without iTunes, but you say it does
requires iTunes xml file…yet you claim the music file can come from anywhere
what am i missing here?
January 29th, 2010 at 8:08 pm

February 4th, 2010 at 5:47 am

February 4th, 2010 at 10:41 am
I would really like to win your Tidysongs software
Thanks for a great site experience
February 4th, 2010 at 4:58 pm
Winning sure would be nice. I have no idea how my music library got so messed up over the years. Having just under 5000 songs would be a pain to fix manually.
February 4th, 2010 at 7:02 pm
I have tried the product and it is pretty good. A bit slow, but its faster than manually trying to find the details yourself
February 4th, 2010 at 7:37 pm
Hello tidysongs, looks great
February 5th, 2010 at 2:46 am
GREAT site, content, theme and layout!!! I'll be reading you often to learn and hopefully contribute
Maybe the TIDYSONGS Giveaway will help me as a new Mac owner converting from my Windows iTunes setup? No more WINDOWS XP machine!!! Just Parallels or VMWare (not sure which to use yet…but your site has a lot of great reading info).
Looking forward to winning and reading your site in the future!
February 5th, 2010 at 1:59 am
It surely will be back…look out for one soon.
February 5th, 2010 at 7:22 am

Tidysongs is great!
February 5th, 2010 at 9:11 pm
Hi, my Itunes is a mess, and the organizational nirvana TidySongs promises seems like something out of a dream I had the other night. Especially since I've merged my music from a few a computers I have a ton of duplicate songs and tags that don't make sense. Take a chance on me with your .dmg. Cheers, Brian.
February 6th, 2010 at 6:34 pm
so far I like what I see. A lot more automatic
February 7th, 2010 at 1:13 am
I'm the winner!
February 7th, 2010 at 2:27 am
Oh my tidysongs, there must really be a God. I have 200GB's of songs. So many in fact, i bought 2 hard drives to keep it straight. One is for the orginals and one for backup. I have so much time involved in obtaining these and keeping track of them. If something happened and I lost my collection. I WOULD DIE. I have every kind of music you could wish for and some you wouldnt wish for. I love it all from John Phillps Susa to Lady GAGA. However, I know there are many in my collection that need updates as far as spelling, artwork, and duplicates. So thank you for the chance to make my life a little eaiser.
February 7th, 2010 at 5:20 pm
Think this will make my 300gb collection a 150gb collection. Help!
February 7th, 2010 at 7:02 pm
Just retweet the post , hope to win.

March 7th, 2010 at 1:06 am
I tried the free version of this and it worked great (for 100 or so songs). I would love to be able to finish sorting my itunes- my library is over 6,000 songs of pure chaos! I've been working on it for ages and it's just hopeless.
March 7th, 2010 at 11:51 am
i need this!
April 13th, 2010 at 3:28 pm

What I could say about TidySongs software after reading this article, it's just absolutely awesome and sounds great. It is a pity that I'm late with the contest. Anyway, congratulations for the winners! You should be so happy guys! I think I'll consider purchasing this particular software, by the same token that the price is affordable.
June 5th, 2010 at 6:12 pm
Brian – you sure is late to the contest, I'm sure you wouldn't regret buying the software at its discounted price. It's just really useful so far to me.
