Find better shopping deals with Basket Buster

Basket Buster can help you find the best price for the product you are shopping for.

Earlier we’ve mentioned about InvisibleHand, a very helpful browser extension that helps you find the best shopping deals without you doing much. Along the same lines but with a slight twist, Basket Buster informs you about better shopping deals available than the one that you are currently looking at. In simple visual indication Basket Buster notifies you of any available better shopping deals.

BasketBuster-Toolbar

Basket Buster comes in as an add-on for both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Once installed you’ll see an icon that turns colors when you visit product sites.

button-green – indicates that the site you are currently viewing has offers available

button-amber – indicates that the current site don’t have any offers but similar sites do

button-red – indicates no offer available for the product you are viewing

When the icon changes to Amber color and when you click on it a sidebar opens up to reveal the deals that are available for the product. This way you don’t have to leave the site you are on but still be aware of the better deals available.

If this looks a bit vague to you here is a video that can visualize it better.

Basket Buster is in closed beta testing as of now. You need a password to install the plugin. If you really really want to try Basket Buster send them an email and they will set things up for you.

Note: I apologize for the slow posting schedule for the last week and a half. Still things are quite busy but should get better and so you can expect a better posting schedule. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Special thanks to those who emailed and asked.
